Joining objects incorporating metal materials

The method for joining objects to metal materials by a soft soldering process is characterised by the fact that the required heat for the soldering process is supplied by means of a fluid. Also claimed is an apparatus for implementation of the method which comprises a housing (1) for accommodation of the objects to be joined, a heater unit (8) located in the housing, means for introducing a fluid into the housing, and means (2) for at least partially evacuating the housing.
