A headset comprising a curved frame for placing over the mouth, the chin, the sides of the back of the neck and the ears of a user for guiding sound waves from a source in the front portion of the frame towards the ears of the user along a path of maximum length in contact with the user's facial skin. The frame comprises an arched upper portion defining, with the top of the user's skull, a space having a substantially constant cross-section and enabling the sound waves to travel between the two ears.
