The engine has a fan wheel (1) with a horizontal axle mounted before a ribbed cylinder (2) of the engine, arranged within a housing (3) and driven off a shaft (6) via a toothed belt (4). The axial fan wheel has a toothed collar ring (1a) on its hub. The toothed ring engages the toothed belt which itself engages a pulley (5) pulled onto the shaft and acting as a holder for a magnet. The magnet stimulates a Hall sensor (8) connected to a housing (9) containing a capacitive discharge ignition controller for the ignition plug (7).
