Abnormality detection device for systems for preventing fuel evaporation

The device detects abnormalities in a device for preventing the formation of vapour on the basis of changes in pressure computed by first and second pressure variation computation devices (50) forming part of the fuel evaporation prevention system. The abnormality detection device uses pressure gradients based on the pressure variations computed by the first and second pressure variation computation devices to detect abnormalities. The measured pressure variations are used to control the opening and closing of an emptying valve (40) and a closure device (37) according to predefined control criteria.
