PURPOSE:To obtain a processed salt for food, capable of removing bad influences on human bodies due to excessive ingestion of salts and sufficiently satisfiable in taste by blending a bi- and trivalent complex iron salt with other ingredients. CONSTITUTION:A processed salt for food obtained by containing a bi- and trivalent iron complex salt, e.g., inorganic salts, such as chloride or sulfate, and organic salts, such as citrate or acetate, capable of exhibiting intermediate properties between those of bi- and trivalent iron salts with bi- and trivalent irons, preferably an aqua complex so as to construct a spinel type compound from an anhydride of the complex salt thereof with bi- and trivalent iron ions therein. |
