<p>The safety switch includes a control rotor (20) which is rotatable about its axis to operate a plunger actuating the contacts. The key can be inserted into either of two notches (24,25) via respective slots (14,16) in the head (12). The spring-biased locking bolt (40) is lodged in the head for movement at right angles to the axis of the control rotor so that it enters a blind hole (26). It is released by the cam formed on the surface of an unlocking element having twin rotors (e.g. 30a) on either side of the control rotor.</p> |
