The method involves introduction of a quantity of feedwater, increased by the maximum amount necessary for supply of hot water, into the steam generator (2) which is heated by the exhaust or waste heat (9) from the gas turbine (6). After heating of the feedwater the additional amount is drawn (32) from the water/steam circuit for delivery to the external heating system (30). The remaining residual heat is applied to the feedwater tank (3). When there is little or no demand for hot water, the surplus released is used to provide additional feedwater for generation of steam. |
