摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of a fog at the unexposed part of the title material, and to obtain the stable processing characteristic of the photosensitive material for a long period by specifying the degree of swelling of the photographic layer contd. in the photosensitive material and the concentration of silver chloride contd. in at least one layer of silver halide emulsion layers respectively, and by incorporating a specified compd. in a color developer. CONSTITUTION:The photographic layer contd. in the photosensitive material has the degree of swelling of 1.5-3.5, and at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers contains at least 90mol.% of the silver chloride. And, the color developer contains the compd. shown by formula I. In formula I, R1 and R2 are each alkyl group or hydrogen atom. The groups R1 and R2 are not hydrogen atom at the same time, and the groups R1 and R2 together with each other may form a ring. The concentration of the compd. shown by formula I contd. in the color developer is preferably 0.5-30g/l, further preferably 1-15g/l. Thus, the generation of the fog is reduced even at the time of mixing a heavy metal ion in the color developer, and the stable photographic characteristic of the photosensitive material is obtd. for the long period.
