A catcher box(30) for storing grass cut by a lawn mower(20) mounted on a vehicle(10) and carried through a thrower(23), comprising: a stationary part(35) attached to the vehicle(10) and a cover(37) pivotally attached to the stationary part(35) so as to open and close, a locking mechanism adapted for locking the stationary part(35) and the cover(37), the locking mechanism provided with a lever(41) for opening or closing the cover(37) in two steps of operations including to release or function the locking mechanism and to open or close the cover(37).
