<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection processing method enabling an oil-impregnated insulating paper to be wound efficiently. SOLUTION: By this processing method, the outer clad of two OF cables 81, 82 to be connected is removed to expose cable insulators 60 and conductors. The exposed conductors are connected to each other and a grease retaining unit 10 with a flange is provided in the periphery. Then, the OF cables are connected by winding an oil-impregnated insulating paper 70 in the periphery of the exposed cable insulators 60 and the grease retaining part 21 of the grease retaining unit 10 with a flange. In this case, ropes 40 are secured to several places on the flange part 20 of the grease retaining unit 10 and tightened to hold the grease retaining unit 10 with a flange. Under this condition, the oil- impregnated insulating paper 70 is wound in the periphery of the exposed cable insulators 60 and the grease retaining part 21 of the grease retaining unit 10 with a flange. This prevents the grease retaining unit 10 with a flange to rotate the axial or horizontal direction or to move forward or backward so that the oil-impregnated insulating paper 70 can be wound efficiently.</p> |
