PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a foam raw material from leaking out from a stay through-hole of a trim cover by joining a through-hole part provided on the trim cover which a stay passes through by foaming pressure of the foam raw material, elasticity of the bent part of the trim cover constituting the through- hole part and a bag-shaped joining of the bent part. SOLUTION: A stay S is passed through a through-hole part A being long in the front and back direction from a stay through-hole C of a trim cover and is exposed outside. The through-hole part A is formed in such a way that end parts of raw fabrics 10 and 11 are laminated and bent inside at the right angle and the bent parts of this two raw fabrics 10B and 11A are joined with sewing threads 12A and 12B into an approximately U-like shape to sew them into a bag shape with an aperture outside. After this is set in a mold under this condition, a foam raw material for molding a pad 2 is fed into the bag- shaped trim cover to mold integrally the pad 2 and the trim cover. In this case, the integrally sewn bent parts 10B and 11A are joined by the foaming pressure of the foam raw material and the through-hole part A is tightly sticked together into a closed condition and therefore, there exists no possibility of leaking out of the foam raw material into the through-hole part A. |
