PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance linearity in the detection characteristics and the selectivity for other coexisting oxidizing/reducing substance by forming an albumin dialdehyde compound crosslinking substance layer, an oxidizing/reducing enzyme layer, etc., sequentially on a working electrode provided on an insulating substrate. SOLUTION: A working electrode and a counter electrode or a working electrode, a counter electrode and a reference electrode are provided on an insulating substrate of ceramic, glass, plastic, paper, biodegradable substance (e.g. microorganism production polyester), etc. An albumin dialdehyde compound crosslinking substance layer, an oxidizing/reducing enzyme layer, or an oxidizing/reducing enzyme-albumin mixture layer, an oxidizing/reducing enzyme-electron transmitter mixture layer, an oxidizing/reducing enzyme-alubmin-electron transmitter mixture layer are formed sequentially on a working electrode. The oxidizing/reducing enzyme includes glucose oxidase, lactate oxidase, alcohol oxidase, etc. The biosensor is disposable and employed in home health diagnosis, especially for early detection of diabetes. |
