PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To load optimum data in accordance with a system situation. SOLUTION: User profile information related to its corresponding terminal equipment is stored in each of respective terminal equipments 31 to 35. The user profile information includes user identification(ID) information, equipment sort information, an equipment name, information related to a CPU, a memory and an OS mounted on the corresponding equipment, and information related to data and programs stored in the equipment. At the time of loading down required data from a host computer 10, the user profile information is referred to and a down-load request for optimum data is sent. In the case of loading data or a program not from a network but from a storage medium such as a CDROM, efficient loading can be similarly executed. |
