FIELD: otorhinolaryngology; logopedics. SUBSTANCE: method resides in using two mucous-muscular grafts taken from lateral thirds of palate's posterior wall and held by lower peduncle, and one graft taken from median third and held by upper peduncle. Said grafts are sutured to soft palatal tissues and to pharynx's lateral walls. EFFECT: proposed method permits to treat soft palate defect, to restrict pathologically expanded palatopharyngeal ring and to shorten time it takes to restore correct speech. |
