The charger, suitable for rechargeable battery packs of various size, comprises a support for the battery inserted into a receiving cavity of the charger and having a stopping flange at one side. The side of the seat adjacent to the flange has a guide rail on which is arranged an adjustment slide element with projection for a single rail situated there and able to be vertically adjusted so that a pair of seats with sliding terminals can be adjusted horizontally to vary their positions relative to the dimensions of the battery. A stopping plate can slide in a passageway and has a retention piece with locking projection that selectively engages with a tooth of a retention unit to lock the plate and thus maintain any given battery in position during the charging. <IMAGE> |
