PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a card from being easily forged or changed at its code. SOLUTION: A card body 14 is formed like a plate. One or more light incident holes 22 are formed at least on one wall surface of the body 14. An optical fiber 28 is arranged in the body 14 so as to optically connect a light incident hole 22 and a light projection hole 24 constituting at least one pattern out of combination patterns for extracting each of plural holes 22 and each of plural holes 24. The identification(ID) code of a card-like recording carrier 10 can be composed of the arrangement of the fiber 28. A light emitting means 34 and a light receiving means 34 are arranged on the reading positions of a reader 12 correspondingly to these holes 22, 24 and a processing part 36 recognizses the ID code from the light receiving state of the light receiving means 34. |
