PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a higher harmonic current inhibiting device, which has a large inhibiting power to a higher harmonic current, and can be miniaturized and lightened. SOLUTION: This inhibiting device is constituted into a structure, wherein a primary winding 10 is wound on first and second annular cores 2 and 4 in such a way as to lie across the cores 2 and 4, which are adjacent to each other, and at the same time, a secondary winding 11 is wound on the core 4 and with a control capacitor 12 connected with the winding 11 in a short-circuited state, air gaps 3 and 5 are respectively provided in each of the cores 2 and 4 and the interval between the air gaps 3 in the core 2 is formed wider than that between the air gaps 5 in the core 4. |
