PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and easily obtain a recording sheet not causing toner fogging at the time of recording and having satisfactory recording quality by forming a continuous electrically conductive band having a specified surface electric resistance on the rear side of an insulating substrate. SOLUTION: An electrically conductive layer B and a dielectric layer C are formed on one side of an insulating substrate A and an electrically conductive band D is continuously formed on the other side of the substrate A. The band D is required to have <=1MΩ/cm, preferably <=500kΩ/cm surface electric resistance because the fogging suppressing effect of the band D at the time of recording is reduced when the electric resistance exceeds 1MΩ/cm after coating and drying. The band D is made, e.g. of graphite, carbon black, fine metal powder of Ag, Cu, Al or Zn or tin oxide doped with antimony oxide.
