PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnet device, which is provided with a wide aperture, has little leakage magnetic field, is lightweight and can attain a wide and uniform magnetic field region in a high magnetic field intensity. SOLUTION: A static magnetic field generation source of a superconducting magnet device is constituted of two groups of superconducting coils, which are arranged in opposition to each other holding a uniform magnetic field generating region 21 between them, and each group of the coils consists of a main coil 41 for making a current in a constant direction flow, a bucking coil 42 for making a current in the reverse direction to the coil 41 flow and coils 43 and 44 for correction use for correcting the uniform degree of a magnetic field. The diameters of the coils 41 and 42 are roughly equal, the diameter of the coils 43 and 44 is smaller than that of the coil 41, the amount of a current of the coils 43 and 44 is less than that of the coil 41 and the opposed distance between the main coils 41 is formed shorter than that between the coils 42. |
