FIELD: medicine; traumatology; orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: spastic behavior of muscles is corrected by shifting locomotive sensitivity threshold of central nervous system. For this purpose lidase is injected into Achilles tendon. Patient's foot is bent and unbent simultaneously with external rotation of foot, followed by fixing foot in physiological position by means of removable gypsum bandage. EFFECT: shorter period of recovery after surgically treating shortened Achilles tendon; no risk for formation of cicatricial tissues. |
