PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display screen for the control of board assembly lines that facilitates the control by grouping the element machines to be controlled in an arbitrary manner, and displaying them on a setup screen for registration. SOLUTION: In a board assembly line, printed boards are assembled by placing electronic components on printed board materials and soldering them together. The element machines comprising the board assembly line are connectable to a computer 20 as control equipment. When setup operation is performed to register element machines of such lines in the computer 20, the computer 20 is turned on, and required operations are performed to make a setup screen appear on CRT 28 screen. A mouse cursor is moved into a frame for line name display by mouse 25 operation. Then a cursor for key-in is displayed between the parentheses within the frame. When a line name is keyed in by keyboard 24 operation, the names of the element machines representing this line are displayed on the screen and registering operation is enabled. |
