PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a dental plaque removing effect by widening at least one or more bristle bundles among the plural bristle bundles constituting a bristle part at the tip of a handle and forming the bristle bundle tip part in a roof shape converged toward a point-like, linear or planar peak part. SOLUTION: The bristle part 2 of this toothbrush is composed by planting a bristle group 4 to a bristle base 3 and the bristle base 3 is constituted of a main body part 3a and a round tapered part 3b formed at a tip side successively to the main body part 3a. Then, the bristle group 4 is arranged in three columns in the width direction of the bristle base main body part 3a and wide bristles 5 wide in the longitudinal direction of the bristle base 3 whose bristle tip part 15 turned to the roof shape are arrayed along the outer shape of the bristle base 3 in the outer side column in the width direction. Also, the plural pieces of circular bristles 6 whose base part diameter is 1.60-2.0mm are arranged at a part held there between the wide bristles 5 and further, the bristles 7 whose base part area is 4.0-10.0mm<2> are arranged at three points at the vertex position on the tapered part 3b of the bristle base 3.
