PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the degradation in the max. color development density and to decrease a replenishing liquid and waste liquid by subjecting a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having photograph constituting layers contg. specific color development reducing agents and dyestuff forming couplers on a base to scanning exposure specified in the overlap width between rasters. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material having the photograph constituting layers contg. at least one kind of the color development reducing agents expressed by formula and at least one kind of the dyestuff forming couplers on the base is subjected to the scanning exposure which is smaller in the scanning pitch by a light beam than an effective beam diameter and is 5 to 95% of the effective beam diameter in the overlap width between the rasters. In the formula, R<11> is an aryl group or heterocyclic group; R<12> is an alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkinyl group, aryl group or heterocyclic group; X is -SO2 -, -CO-, -COCO-, -CO-O-, -CON(R<13> )-, -COCO-O-,-COCO-N(R<13> )-, etc. R<13> is the same as R<12> .
