PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicone rubber composition having flame retardance/high thermal conductivity, capable of being subjected to extrusion molding processing, forming a compound preservable for a long period of time, providing a rubber molding having >=1.7W/m.K thermal conductivity after vulcanization molding, by adding a basic metal oxide having <=1.0m<2> /g specific surface area and 10-35μm average particle diameter, nitride or carbide powder subjected to waterproof treatment, a reinforcing agent, a platinum-based compound and a vulcanizing agent to a silicone rubber. SOLUTION: This composition is a compound obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of a silicone rubber, 10-490 pts.wt. of a basic metal oxide having <=1.0m<2> /g specific surface area and 10-35u m average particle diameter, 10-500 pts.wt. of nitride or carbide powder subjected to waterproof treatment, 0-500 pts.wt. of a reinforcing agent, 0.01-10 pts.wt. of a platinum-based compound and 0.5-20 pts.wt. of a vulcanizing agent followed by kneading. The compound is molded by extrusion molding, etc., and vulcanized. A prepared silicone rubber molding is flame-retardant and has >=1.7W/m.K thermal conductivity.
