PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of the adhesion of a substrate and a color filter layer formed on this substrate. SOLUTION: A counter surface 22a is subjected to a surface treatment for accelerating a polar effect before the formation of the color filter layers 6. The surface energy of the counter surface 22a is increased to >=25 dyens/cm by executing such surface treatment before the formation of the color filter layer 6. At the time of the surface treatment on the counter surface 22a, the counter surface 22a is impressed with, for example, a corona discharge, or the counter surface 22a is irradiated ozone or the counter surface 22a is irradiated with UV rays, by which the surface energy above 25 dyens/cm is imparted to the counter surface 22a. As a result, the wettability capable of stabilizing the adhesive state to the color filter layer 6 is imparted to the counter surface 22a by the increase of hydrophilic groups. |
