FIELD: metallurgy; applicable in processes of continuous casting of thin steel strips or bands. SUBSTANCE: plant has two rolls rotating in opposite directions and cooled from inside, two side walls of cover and means for supporting and pressing with certain force of cover walls to end faces of rolls, pushing plate movable in direction A of rolls longitudinal axes and located square to this direction, panel which supports cover wall and located on pushing plate; at least, three pushing members of spring type installed between pushing plate and panel. These pushing members are distributed in zone whose shape corresponds to that of cover wall and can act on cover wall with pushing force irrespective of each other. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
