PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation efficiency by adding a separator character between KATAKANA (squre form of Japanese syllabary) words in a sentence to make it easy to read long KATAKANA character string. SOLUTION: A KATAKANA words storage part 106 stores KATAKANA words obtained from the analytic result of a morpheme analytic part 105 in the sentence with positional information. A consecutive KATAKANA words detection part 107 takes out a consecutive part from the group of the KATAKANA words stored in the KATAKANA words storage part 106. A separator character adding part 108 adds the separator character in the sentence such as between the KATAKANA words obtained by the consecutive KATAKANA words detection part 107 based on information sent from a KATAKANA character counting part 109 and a separator adding word storage part 110. The KATAKANA character counting part 109 calculates the number of characters in two consecutive KATAKANA words obtained by the consecutive KATAKANA words detection part 107 and when the number is over a previously fixed value, sends information for adding the separator to the separator character adding part 108. |
