INK SUPPLY IN INK-JET PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply ink to a printing head with high reliability. SOLUTION: A main tank usually held by the peripheral pressure is provided to an ink supply container 10 for an ink jet printer. The main tank is connected to a chamber changeable in vol. through a one-way check valve and the one-way check valve permits the flow of ink from the tank to a chamber and prevents the flow of ink from the chamber to the tank. The chamber is connected to a fluid outlet 20 usually kept in a closed state to prevent the flow of ink. However, when the ink supply container 10 is attached to the inside of the printer, the communication of the liquid between the chamber and the printer is established by the fluid outlet 20. The chamber is a part of the pump equipped with the ink supply container 10 operable so as to supply ink from the tank to the printer.
