<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely change positions of a unit board and connectors, and easily connect the connectors to a wire harness even when the number of the connectors is changed. SOLUTION: A joint connector 1 has a relay terminal 30 for connecting a wire harness 24 assembled in a connector housing to form a slit-shaped board insertion port, so a unit board 14 is assembled into the board insertion port. A guide part for holding the relay terminal 30 is provided in the connector housing. In this joint connector 1, need of pulling a wire harness for branching is eliminated, but the unit board 14 can be installed at a desired position, so position freedom of the unit board 14 and connectors 16, 17 is increased. In addition, even when the number of the connectors to be connected to the wire harness 24 is changed, only the number of the relay terminals 30 need be changed, thereby generality is improved.</p> |
