<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify production stages, to reduce a manufacturing cost, and to improve the yield of production by constituting the surface layers of scanning signal wirings of aluminum alloys added with high melting metals or the specific high melting metals. SOLUTION: A transparent glass substrate 13 is provided thereon with image signal wirings 2 and the section signal wirings 1, 1' via insulating films 8, 8' so as to intersect with each other. Pixel electrodes 3 and thin-film transistors(TFTs) 5 of an inverted stagger type for supplying image signals to these pixel electrodes 3 are disposed in a matrix form at the intersected points of the image signal wirings 2 and the scanning signal wirings 1, 1'. The scanning wirings 1 are composed of the high melting metals, such as tungsten (W), molybdenum (Mo), titanium (Ti), nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), having oxide forming energy of >=-300kcal or thier alloys, or the alloys composed of the high melting metals, such as tungsten (W), molybdenum (Mo), tantalum (Ta), nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), and aluminum.</p> |
