发明名称 FLANGE FIXING METHOD FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily fix flanges to a photoreceptor with good coaxiality without the occurrence of deformation therein by heating at least the flange fitting parts of a base body to expand the parts, fitting the base body fitting parts of the flanges in this state to the base body and allowing the assembly to cool. SOLUTION: Metallic blocks 3 heated to about 50 deg.C are inserted into the flange fitting parts 2 disposed on the inside surface at the base body ends of the photoreceptor 1 provided with a photosensitive layer of an org. system on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical base body consisting of an aluminum material so as to maintain the contact therewith and the flange fitting parts 2 are heated to about 50 deg.C. In succession, the metallic blocks 3 are withdrawn and the base body fitting parts 5 of the flanges 4 are fitted into the flange fitting parts 2 of the base body and are then allowed to cool down to ordinary temp., by which the flanges 4 are fixed to the base body. As a result, the flanges 4 are easily fixed to the photoreceptor 1 formed by using the thin base body consisting of the aluminum material without the occurrence of the deformation therein and without the damage of the flanges.
