FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: condenser has housing 1, inlet and outlet water chambers arranged on the end faces of the housing, device for collecting condensate 4, intermediate pipe baffles 5, set of modules each of which is made up as major pipe bank 6 with the central space that is an equilateral truncated trapezium in cross-section, pipe bank 7 of the cooler of steam-air mixture positioned inside additional housing 8 with collector 9 for discharging steam-air mixture. Each module is provided with longitudinal baffle which has throttle horizontal converging slots 11 that are arranged in the central space and abut against the surface of the major pipe bank and lateral baffles that underlie the longitudinal baffle to define vertical passageways. Above slots 11 on baffle 10 are chute 13 that does not allow condensate to be poured out. The additional housing of the cooler abuts against the large base of the major pipe bank and is in communication with the vertical passageways. Hydraulic gate 14 is connected to the collector from the bottom and serves for discharging condensate produced in pipe bank 7 of the cooler of steam-air mixture.
