FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes method of preparing ethylene and a-olefin compositions. Copolymer compositions have controllable ingredients and controllable molecular weight distribution. The claimed method is based on using highly effective composition of homogeneous catalyst in at least one reactor for preparing first copolymer having narrow molecular weight distribution, and highly effective heterogeneous Ziegler catalyst in at least other reactor. Depending on desired final product, reactors can function in series or parallel. New compositions have good optical properties (transparency and turbidity) and good physical properties (e.g. module, ultimate flow, impact strength and tear strength). Films, molded products and fibers can be manufactured from said compositions. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method and improved properties of the composition. |
