<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the removing work of jammed papers easily by a user, by displaying a cover to be opened and a unit to be checked clearly, when the jamming in an image forming device such as a copier is generated. SOLUTION: When a system 1 in an image forming device detects the generation of a jamming by the plural jamming detecting means built in the units, the jamming generating position is specified, a cover corresponding to the jamming generating position is decided by a corresponding cover deciding means 3, and the LED of the corresponding cover is lighted by an LED lighting means 4 together with the display of a jamming generating message. And the cover to be opened when the jammed paper removing work is carried out is informed.</p> |
