PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the attachment and detachment of all covers by attachment/ detachment detection means of the number of sets smaller than the number of covers and to easily perform the wiring. SOLUTION: This gantry device 1 of an X-ray CT device is entirely covered with the five covers 5-9 and has a function for detecting the attachment and detachment of the covers. Then, only for a front cover 5 among the five covers, an attachment/detachment detection part 30 for detecting the attachment and detachment to and from side covers 6 and 7 adjacent to the front cover 5 is disposed. Also, at the boundary parts between the left and right side covers 6 and 7 and a top cover 8 and a rear cover 9, attachment/detachment control parts 6b, 7b and 8a are formed so as to allow the top cover 8 or the rear cover 9 to be detached only in the state of detaching the side covers 6 and 7.
