PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device wherein color changing work is automated in extruding/coating work, which includes frequent color changing work, of a plastic insulating material of electric wires/cables. SOLUTION: This device is constituted such that three or more hoppers 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d are installed so as to be turnable centering around an axis 1 of rotation above an extruding machine 2 equipped with a minihopper 3 attached thereto and that a residual material suction pipe 4 connected to a residual material suction device 5 is connected to a bottom part of the minihopper 3 in order that compound in the minihopper 3 may be returned to a hopper 6a positioned above the minihopper 3. The three or more hoppers being turned one after another and positioned above the minihopper 3, differently colored compound being supplied successively to the extruding machine 2, an insulated wire is thereby caused to have coating of a color of a fixed length, and thus color changing work is automated. |
