PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize relevance feedback of generality by efficiently acquiring language information for relevance feedback from a small quantity of relevance discrimination information. SOLUTION: The retrieval condition preliminarily designated by a user is held in a user information storage part 13, and a related text detection part 17 calculates similarities between text information and groups text information having similarities equal to or higher than a prescribed threshold as related text information; and when a relevance discrimination information input part 15 accepts the relevance discrimination result including the goodness of fit decided by the user 3 for text information presented by a text information output part 16, a user profile correction part 14 corrects the retrieval condition after reflecting this discrimination result on not only the text information but also other related text information grouped by the related text detection part 17. Thus, efficient relevance feedback is realized with a small quantity of relevance discrimination information. |
