<p>Endoscope comprises a longitudinally slidable wire loop for tissue removal, and a telescopic viewing tube connected to the loop by a lever mechanism which allows displacement of the viewing tube to a lesser extent than displacement of the loop. Pref. the mechanism is a rectilinear thrust lever assembly with two or more levers, connected to the viewing tube by an intermediate component which is connected by a joint to one lever at a point between the two joints of the lever. The viewing tube provides a wide field of vision without obstruction of the view by the edge of the shaft of the endoscope.</p> |
