PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp facilitating the insertion of a mount into an outer tube while the support strength of a light emitting tube is kept by providing the outer tube, a mount, and an elastic member. SOLUTION: An outer tube 1 has a linear section 11 made of ultraviolet ray transmitting quartz glass or hard glass, an opening section 12 is formed at one end, and a closed bottomed section 13 is formed at the other end. Alight emitting tube 2 is stored in the outer tube 1, and a system 22 having an electrode 3 constituted of an anode 3a and a cathode 3b is sealed at each of both end sections of a nearly U-shaped bulb 21. An exhaust pipe 24 is provided at the apex of a bend section 23. Members 4, 5 support the light emitting tube 2. The substrate 41 and elastic member 44 of the member 4 are crossed together, and their end sections are fixed. The apex of the elastic member 44 is kept in contact with the inner wall face of the bottomed section 12 of the bulb 21. An elastic protruded piece 45 holds and guides the bulb 21. |
