PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for connecting a cable in which cable connecting work can be easily and securely performed. SOLUTION: A connector for connecting a cable is composed of a first and a second covers 4, 5 for respectively sandwichedly holding cables 2, 3, and a contact block 6 holding both covers 4, 5 on both surface sides of a board part 7 and having contacts 8 penetrating both surfaces, the covers 4, 5 are held at temporary positions of the contact block 6 after the cables 2, 3 to be connected to each other are sandwichedly held by the respective covers 4, 5 to adjust a cable connecting position, and both covers 4, 5 are pressure-welded with the contact block 6. Insulation coating on the cables 2, 3 is thus removed, and they are pressure-welded with the contacts 8. |
