PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus equipped with a function by which a display reduced scale capable of obtaining road information to be returned to an original route can be detected, changed over and displayed automatically even when a vehicle is deviated from a route so as to be run. SOLUTION: When a route deviation is detected, an automatic rerouting mode is judged (S11). When it is turned on, a second search processing operation is executed (S12). Its second search route is displayed and processed (S13), and a route is guided in succession. Then, when the automatic rerouting mode is turned off, a second search processing operation is executed (S14), and, after that, whether a present position is on a second search route (a latest route) or not is judged (15). In addition, when the route is changed so as to be run, the second search processing operation is executed newly (S14). When a vehicle is situated on the latest route and a second search switch is pressed (S16), a route display processing operation is performed so as to display a stored second search route (S18) under a condition that the latest route is a road capable of being guided (S17), and the route is guided. Thereby, at a user's second search request, a required route can be displayed immediately on a display device. |
