<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily perform an opposite test for which a terminal other than the present terminal is a destination by setting destination information specified in a switching means to the prescribed area of an ATM cell header. SOLUTION: Respective IF packages 21-24 are provided with IF number specifying switches 31-34 for specifying the IF package corresponding to a communicating party. In this case, changeover switches 2 and 4 are knocked down to the side of an IF unit 2. Then, data are sent from a first terminal to the IF1 package 21. Also, the IF number setting switch 31 corresponding to the IF1 package 21 is set to '10' which is the identification code of an IF2 package 22. Then, in the IF package 21, an IF number specifying bit in a COH is set to '10' which is a binary code for specifying the 1F2 package 22 and delivered to an MUX 203. Signals multiplexed in the MUX 203 are inputted to a DMUX 201 as they are, separated and inputted to an output distribution part 202.</p> |
