PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early stop a stepping motor in the case of generating abnormality in an acceleration or constant speed period, by providing a deceleration stop means stopping control of the stepping motor transferred immediately from acceleration or constant speed control to deceleration control by a stop signal from a microprocessor. SOLUTION: A control part 40 comprises a CPU41, ROM42, RAM43, I/O port 44, motor control part 45 and a motor drive part 46, the CPU41 generally controls a total unit of the control part 40, the motor control part 45 gives a phase excitation signal, synchronized with a drive pulse, to the motor drive part 46, so as to rotate a stepping motor 51. In this motor control part 45, a pulse rate data stored in the ROM42 is loaded to the motor drive part 46 not through the CPU41. Here, in the case of generating abnormality in an acceleration or constant speed period of the stepping motor 51, the CPU41 feeds a stop signal to the motor control part 45 and quickly further properly decelerates and stops the stepping motor 51. |
