PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the driving of motor in safety through inexpensive circuitry. SOLUTION: When motors M1, M2 are switched through transistors 2, 3 and subjected to drive control through a common drive circuit 7, voltages V1, V2 between resistors 4, 5 connected in parallel with the transistors 2, 3 and corresponding motors M1, M2 are taken out. Under a state where the transistors 2, 3 and the common drive circuit are turned off, the connection between the transistor and corresponding motor is checked based on the level of voltages V1, V2. Each motor is checked based on the level of voltages V1, V2 under a state where the transistors 2, 3 are turned off and the common drive circuit is turned on. A defective motor and a motor connected through a defective connection are prohibited from being driven. |
