PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily convert an English character string which is inputted in Roman character input mode. SOLUTION: When a one-character paragraph is present in a converted character string, a Roman character section changing process is performed. In concrete, a KANA (Japanese syllabary) character of interest is reconverted into an English character string (step ST41) and it is judged whether or not an English character string mixed character string including part of this alphabet character string is registered in a dictionary (step ST43), when the character string is registered, a Roman KANA conversion process is performed at the corresponding position (step ST49) and the obtained KANA character string is converted by using the dictionary. This process is carried on as much as possible (step ST45). |
