PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type antenna which has the function as an antenna in also the storage state, has no possibility of generating the trouble due to a connection conductive defective, is excellent in operation feeling, is short in length dimension and is simple/inexpensive. SOLUTION: A composite antenna 29 is composed by connecting a helical antenna 13 with the upper end of a wire antenna 14 and the wire antenna 14 is supported so that the antenna may extend, contract and slide for a case 1 by a guide sleeve 18. The electrostatic capacity coupling with the opening end of an exciter 22 is performed for the wire antenna 14. When the wire antenna contracts (falls) and becomes an illustrated state, the antenna is stored within a shield pipe 20 and the lower ends are mutually contacted and conducted. In the illustrated storage state, the shield pipe 20 and the wire antenna 14 resonate as tip short shape coaxial resonators by aboutλ/4 and they become high impedance, and a helical antenna 13 efficiently functions. When the composite antenna 29 is extended upward, it functions as the antenna resonating byλ/2.
