Boot binding for snowboard

The binding has two anchor sections (10,11) fixed to opposite sides of the sole of the boot. A base (13) is fixed to the board and has a rotary anchor guide (14) to hold the first anchor against vertical movement. A lock (15) for the second anchor section (11) has a jaw (150) with a seating to receive the second anchor. The lock has a return spring (154) for a part of the lock which is moved by vertical displacement of the second anchor along an arc with a radius equal to that separating the anchor points.
