PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To incorporate each element of document type definitions with a style. SOLUTION: A sample document instance is selected first. A style is given thereto interactively (S3). The document instance with the style is compared with respective elements of document type definitions specifying the type of the document instance and the style is automatically given to each element of the document type definitions (S5). Thus, the document type definitions with the style are generated. Then, a document instance as an object of composition is inputted. Its elements are compared with the respective elements of the document type definitions with the style and a document instance with a style is automatically generated. Consequently, operation necessary for composition is completed. The operation is easy and does not require skillfulness. |
