PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely join in a class or presentation and to enable a continuous self-practice through easy operation by providing a means which switches an interlocking state wherein clients share distributed hyper texts at the same time and a noninterlocking state wherein they are not shared. SOLUTION: When the user (tutor) of an operation instructing client 27 starts a lecture in the noninterlocking state while showing, for example, distributed hyper texts to the users (student) of operation-instructed clients 28, the tutor selects the interlocking state by using the user interface of the operation instructing client 27. Namely, the interlocking state is selected by a state selecting means 35. Then, an interlocking instruction is sent to all the operation- instructed clients 28 by the interlocking instruction means 31 of the operation instructing client 27 through a communication means 3 and a network 6. The operation-instructed clients 28 receive the instruction by interlocking means 32 and their hyper text viewers 2 are placed in the interlocking state. |
