PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the speaking time of a mobile station by effectively saving the power consumption in the mobile station. SOLUTION: This system consists or a base station 1, which transmits a signal S1 indicating the transmission power level of a mobile station 2, and the mobile station 2 provided with a receiver 4, a transmitter 5, and a controller 6. When the signal S1 is received by a receiver 4 or the mobile station 2, a level discrimination part 60 of the controller 6 discriminates the power level of the signal S1. When the signal S1 indicates a maximum power level, an RSSI signal R indicating the reception power level of the mobile station 2 is outputted to a comparison part 61, and this reception power level is compared with a threshold T in a storage part 62. If the reception power level is equal to or higher than the threshold, the transmitter 5 transmits a signal S2 in a second power level lower than the maximum power level by the control of a power control part 63. If the reception power level is lower than the threshold, the transmitter 5 transmits the signal S2 in the maximum power level. |
